THE EAGLE HAS LANDED
This fellow circled over the boat Wednesday morning, then landed in a favorite perch of his, overlooking the industrial side of Morgan City.

beautiful...I haven't seen many around here lately but earlier this fall I had one swoop in at my while I was driving up a hill. I had to swerve because it terrified me.

What a majestic being. A fitting symbol for a great country..
Captured nicely.
Thanks for dropping by Mel.
Yeah it does something visceral to a guy to see an eagle. You've seen 'em on TV, on the money, billboards, stuff like that there and here, lo and behold, in person!
One flew over my head in PA once. he/she was in full-speed cruise; felt like seeing a high-performance jet pass at 500 feet.Jjust an american symbolic blur, is all I saw.
Dunno how I missed these. They actually gave me chills because the eagle is so symbolic of this nation and as it rests atop the branch, it still maintains its dignity. Well, done, G.!!
Now when the hello are ya gonna post what's goin on in your 3%?.......Not that I'm sayin you're lazy or anything....
I just saw this a few hours ago. Apparently a CGI hoax though.
Bald eagle is such a majestic creature -- and these are a neat series of captures! Thanks for sharing!
Saw a coupla iggles in Arkansas with my dad and kids a few years ago. Majestic sight. They approached the lake where we were waiting, circled around, then headed off again.
