Driftwood on the beach near Port St. Joe
Egrets, looking towards New Orleans.

I hope they saved whoever is left in the car
Rest area off i-10, hwy 81 junction

James is an old, old friend, who is in town for our 40-year high-school reunion. We have had a great time recalling old pals and events.
I am usually better photographer, however I
1) Wanted to spoof my awkward teen pic-taking
2) I was shooting from the hip, inorder to surprise him
3) The S.O.B. Still has a full head of hair!
I wanted to change Pepe's name to Fang, any guesses why?
As the sun sinks slowly in the east, we contemplate the new worry, Global Reversal

Are those curtain airbags?
I love the driftwood shot!!! What is global reversal -- do we really have to worry about it too?
@Roadkill_Spatula - They look almost accordioned.
@slmret - - We don't have to worry about it, no. A massive shift in the Earth's magnetic field is much more likely, and I started panicking about that weeks ago.
@MelFamy - I would agree that a shift in the earth's magnetic field is possible, though probably not in our lifetime! I think there was a minor shift during the Indonesian quake, and probably another during the Japan and Baja CA quakes -- it seems like those big quakes bump the axis a little each time. Then -- perhaps we need to worry more about big earthquakes ! ! !
Nice set of pics, love the egrets shot.
Great snaps! Keep on snapping!
So, from the title, I take it something came over you, don't know what, you were overcome, and then just lost it. This happens. At least we got some great shots (I still see only the left half) out of it. Now I'm tryin' to figger how to make the sun set in the East.
@jsolberg - I was looking through the themes, and when I tried one, all that I got was half the picture. Try modifying your theme, increase the pixel-width of the weblog frame, if that is an option.
I have decided on "I Just Snapped!" as the title of any picture-blog with no dominant subject.
